Cakes!

 Our ward had a cake and service auction last night as a fund raiser for girls camp. Mom is the Assistant Camp Director, so to ease some of her stress I volunteered to help. Kessa and Sadie had to each make a cake. They have been so busy with school and softball, so I volunteered to make their cakes. Not sure if I realized how much I had signed up for. . .but it gave me a chance to try out some Pinterest recipes!

I also wrote the cake description's for the MC to read, so people would bid.

things that bring me happiness

I heard a quote recently: "figure out who you are and be the hell out of that."  That's the point of life--right? I'm learning more and more about myself and really enjoying it; now I've just got to BE myself always, everywhere, with everyone. These things bring me happiness and I'm trying to fill my life with things that make me happy. No more pretending to be someone that's not me. This is my time. As long as I'm happy and proud of the way I act, then that is all that matters. Not everyone has to love me or want to be my best friend. Those people that still love me for the way I act as ME. . .those are the people I want to keep in my life, the ones I want to be with. Thank you for being those people in my life--love you!
