NEW Inked Chevrons Collection

I'm really excited about this! I've been working really hard to bring you this NEW Stamped Chevrons Collection to the Etsy shop.

It is really special to me. It started out as a small idea when I wanted to create something that would be special and unique and really help women feel empowered and loved.

The idea has grown so much and I just love what it has become. I have kept it completely secret...and only recently shown some vague sneak peeks on Instagram (@egbertkeisha). But it is officially live and as a thank you to my loyal blog and facebook fans, if you order a necklace, you get the matching print FREE! :) Love ya. :)

Let me tell you about this collection.

Each necklace is one of a kind. I will never made a duplicate. Not only are they uniquely hand stamped, but I will never put the same charm together with the same word(s), so you know you are getting a truly unique necklace that is JUST YOURS.

Each word, or words, come from a special place in my heart. This is not something that I just came up with to try to make money. This is something this is purely to try to spread love and hope. My heart was so full one night of the love that God has for his daughters and I wanted all of us to have daily reminders of that.

That's why each necklace comes with a little 2 x 3 inch card with a short story or quote written by me of the reasoning behind that necklace and why that particular woman is sacred and special. For example, the "Grow Courage Woman" is incredible because she was not born with courage, she must spend hours in her garden cultivating her courage if she wants to keep it--but in the end, it is so worth it because her courage is so brilliantly beautiful.

So every time you wear the necklace--close to your heart--you are reminded of the love you are surrounded with, or lifted up with courage, or wrapped up in warm arms of grace.

I also let out so much love through my illustrations and I wanted them to be a part of this journey and collection, too, so I made a matching print (or 2 or 3) to go along with each necklace. You can buy the prints together or separately, but I think they tie up the thought of love nicely.

I will be releasing about 5 or so new necklaces and prints each month and spotlighting them here on the blog! But head over right now because 5 just went LIVE! and remember: now until June 13th you can get the matching print for FREE when you order the necklace. :)

Thank you guys so much for always supporting me in Inked Chevrons. It is truly my passion! Love you all!

Kyle and Kessa

I sure love my sister. She is beautiful, kind, smart...
and I love her boyfriend, too. This kid is the sweetest guy you'll meet and is so good to Kessa.
He's on an  LDS Mission in Taiwan right now {he'll be home in October!}
and I can't wait for him to get back!

This darling picture is from a trip to Oregon Kess took with Kyle's family before he left and
one night when I was missing him I decided to illustrate it. Love them!

Kessa's Birthday and Inked Chevrons Valentines Cards

Today is my lovely sister {Kessa} 's birthday! She is 20! AHH! When did that happen!?

She is the sweetest girl I know-always caring about other people.
She works really hard at everything she does and is super smart!
She is studying Dietetics at Utah State University right now and is the Relief Society President in her singles ward. :)
She makes me laugh and sends silly emails to brighten my day.
She is the BEST! If there was anyone I would've been happy to revoke my "only child" status to--it would always be you.
I love you!

ALSO. Speaking of love. Valentines day is right around the corner! Do you have a gift for your Valentine yet? My shop is filling up with hearts and kisses: go grab some!
These cute cards will be available at the Wandering Wardrobe in Springville--
but don't forget I can do anything custom too!

The Box Project

So I joined Tumblr a few months ago and I've truly found my home. Why did they not have/I not know about this when I was in High School? I would have felt so much less alone. At least what I've seen; Tumblr is a group of introverted, fandom-crazed, anxiety-ridden, lovable, girls&boys that get together and share the things they love with the world. They are funny, clever, kind, understanding people {mostly} and I feel like I fit there. There actually are people out there that love Supernatural & Benedict Cumberbatch & Tom Hiddleston & Marvel Comics & Paris & England & Cupcakes & EVERYTHING I love as much as I love them--and they're not made fun of or shunned-they are embraced and cheered on.

There's the lovely ladies that run a blog that posts about the beauty that is Tom Hiddleston--I mean have you SEEN this post? and they {hiddleston-daily} decided it would be fun to send Tom a package from his fans for his birthday. They got bombarded with gifts from all over the world! I thought it was such a great idea--I had to get in. I've been wanting to write to him and let him know how much I adored him as an actor and his happy personality--and what a better way to do that then send it with dozens of other love notes for his birthday.

I wanted to send something unique too, so I thought 'Why not send one of my illustrations?' He's been so many incredible characters, so I picked a few of my favorites and sketched them out for him. What fun!

I'm really excited for him to get the package and so grateful for the ladies at hiddleston-daily for sponsoring such a fun gift! Tom, you gorgeous man, we love you!

p.s. I'm brilliantlovely on tumblr if you want to follow :)
