10 Years of Cheese

Guys. The 90's. For real. I've been catching up on all the T.V. shows I missed when they were actually on T.V. (Thank goodness for Netflix)...

Buffy, Charmed, Friends...how great are these? 

  

Not to mention: Boy Meets World, Full House, Fresh Prince, The Amanda Show, 

Sabrina the Teenage Witch...oh good times, good times.

I'd even settle for the fashion if we could bring back the cheese of 90's television.

My Friday Adventure

This weekend I decided to make the trek up to Logan to see my cute sister and help her move back home for the summer. She just finished her 2nd year at Utah State and made it into the Didactic (dietetics) program! I'm so proud of her! She's grown so much already and is the sweetest girl you will ever meet!

We packed up the cars, had lunch at (my favorite place) Pita Pit, and then played a little lost and found to (my other favorite place) Zeppe's for some delish Gelata. YUM!

 

Then, since I was so close, I HAD to go over and visit my darling Ashley and Lucy! Just look at these chubby-toes painted PINK! Oh my gosh! So adorable! She's grown up so much since I last saw her! I wish I could just take her home with me! :) It was so good to chat with Ashley and catch up! We will be friends for life! She is so good to me and always gives me such great advice! Love you, boo.

THEN, I of course had to go to Tremonton to see my girl, Naomi who was GRADUATING the next day! (i had to work, :(....) Man, I love this girl! She totally understands me so much! Most of our conversations go:

 "I don't know how to explain it...but it's like...well--you understand, right?" "I'm the same way! I get it!" 

She is the bomb dot com, guys, fo real. And she makes me feel so good about myself. I never feel dumb or bad around her, she has such a kind heart and I swear we were best friends in heaven too. :) And she had the sweetest gift waiting for me when I got there! She just KNOWS that gift giving is my love language. To know someone thought of you enough to put a present together for you is, to me, a huge deal. And Naomi gets that. and I love her so much!  I got to see a tour of her darling house too! She has made it look so darling and I'm so happy she has a place to call her own! 

What a fun and exhausting Friday! :) SO worth it. I'm so lucky to have so many TRUE friends in my life who love me for me. Sometimes you just need reassurance that you are loved so that you can keep going in life--and I'm so grateful to everyone in my life that help me feel so blessed and loved!

Bullet My Typical Day

• wake up to "Carry On My Wayward Son"
• wish I could go back to bed
• get up and shower
• turn on an Episode of either Supernatural, Friends, or Pushing Daisies
• pick what to wear {this usually ends with inside-out clothes all over the bed}
• put on my make-up while munching down on granola cereal while watching my episode {multi-tasking is key}
• make a lunch {usually an apple, a lactose free yogurt, 1/2 a sandwich, and multi-grain pringles}
• head out for work jamming to my Ipod on shuffle or Lee Dewyze's "Frames"
• 4 hours of trying to stay sane at work. designing vinyl letters for customers {and, let's be honest, myself}
• sneak a quick lunch at my desk and browse tumblr for sexy BC or TH
• 3 more hours of trying to stay sane at work. if one more person has a stupid question or comment, I will start to scream!
• Finally time to go home.
• I'll usually grab some dinner on the way, my favorite is Kneaders turkey sandwich and Berry Cheesecake for dessert. yummmm
• hide away in my room and watch Netflix while I sketch, smash book, craft in some way.
• looking through magazines to find ideas for shoots/sets for a secret project I'm working on. ;)
• get ready for bed
• turn off my light and begin an un-repeatable amount of time playing games on my kindle when I should be reading. {Candy Crush, Juice Cubes, and Tiny Bird are my obsessions)
• sleep, glorious sleep, filled with dreams of sexy BC or TH or both--which is always nice. ;)
